Best Raised Bed Soil Mix 2023

Updated: May 9, 2023

If you are starting a raised bed garden this year I am sure you are beginning to consider what kind of soil mix you should use this year. We know that healthy soil is a vital part of the health and growth of your plants. We don't use "dirt" we want rich and biodiverse soil that is equally great at draining and full of nutrients. During different parts of my gardening journey, I have used homemade mixes of garden soil with my homemade compost and coconut coir and vermiculite, other times I have had bulk orders of soil mixes dropped off at my home but sometimes you need the convenience of running to your local garden center and picking up what you need.

Here is a list of my top-ranking raised bed garden bagged mixes these are all organic mixes and some of my favorite.

This mix is perfectly balanced with a nutrient-rich soil mix that will keep your plants thriving.

This is also available at your local The Home Depot

2. Raised Bed Mix – Whitney Farms comes in second with their beautiful soil mix is made specifically for your raised bed garden and is rich in ingredients like bone meal, earthworm castings, alfalfa meal, and kelp meal. It is rich and ready to be added to your garden.

These are just a few of my very favorite soil mixes that will have you growing a bounty of fruits and veggies all year long!

Y'all stay crunchy,

Paisley
